Over the years I've lived in a Pony Express stop in the Montana wilderness,
a few cabins in the California mountains, a school bus, an ashram, a palapa hut in a Nahua Indian fishing village, and a few houses in the suburbs.
I've loved in France and cried in London and explored in China and
bellydanced in Hawaii and written books in Arizona and painted in Portland.
♥️And in recent years, my home is here in the lovely village of Ajijic.♥️

The past is a beautiful tapestry upon which I stand, and every single experience I've had along the way, beautiful or painful,
was necessary to get me to who and where I am right now.
Creative Possibility is the golden thread that binds these experiences together in a magic carpet ride that fuels my imagination,
feeds my passion, and fills me with hope ~ and the discoveries I make along the way provide inspiration for my art.
I have an unconventional story about my Bohemian
life as a dancer, writer and artist.
But it's just that ~ a story. It has nothing to do with the person sitting in front of you (metaphorically) right now.
Art taught me that we only have right now...and that Creative possibility has nothing to do with the past.
That doesn't mean you can't ever talk about the past...
it just means you can't Live in it.
I live in the Mexican village of Ajijic with my little buddy, Blanco, who rescued me from a life of abject doglessness a few years back. He was a Mexican street dog and I was an American studio hermit, and somehow we found each other. Now every morning we walk together along the banks of Lake Chapala and afterwards, I spend time at work in my Bohemian Art studio.
